Calling all Hinsdale photographers! HPL’s Art Commission is accepting applications for a curated photography exhibit this fall. Selected works will be printed on canvas by the library and displayed in the Quiet Room this September. HPL will also host a reception to launch the exhibition. Use the form below to submit your photo.

Some restrictions and guidelines apply:

• Photos must be submitted digitally to mkennedy@hinsdalelibrary.info at a resolution of at least 300 dpi when printed at 8”x10”, 11”x14”, or 12”x12” sizes. Only digital files will be considered, and all prints will be created from digital files. JPG, TIFF, or PNG format preferred.
• Photos must conform to only one of the above categories.
• Entrants may only submit one photo. Preference will be given to Village of Hinsdale residents.
• Two to three photos will be selected from each age group for each category, resulting in an exhibition of 18–27 photos. 
• The Library will order canvas prints of each selected photo at 8”x10”, 11”x14”, or 12”x12” sizes, depending on photo proportions and wall space availability; the Library may have to crop your photo to print it correctly. An entrant whose photograph is chosen will be able to pick up the canvas print of their photograph at the end of the exhibition.
• Printed photos not picked up by December 2025 will be considered property of the Library.
